About the Author: Ronald L. Herron
A member of the National Writers Association, Michigan Writers, the American Academy of Poets and the Alliance of Independent Authors, Ron Herron once worked for some of the world's largest advertising agencies and had a long, distinguished career in public relations, communications and marketing with an international Fortune 10 company.
His writing has appeared in print and on respected online forums (the online literary journal Slow Trains currently features his poem: Woodland Avenue) and his debut novel, Reichold Street, was selected as a 2012 Readers Favorite Gold Medal Winner. In June 2013, Reichold Street was also honored with the coveted Compulsion Reads Endorsement.
An avid reader, Ron admits to an eclectic taste that leans toward fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction and well-crafted mystery or suspense. He's also a photographer and artist who enjoys designing his own book covers (see his designs below). He listens to a wide range of music from classical to contemporary, with his taste leaning heavily toward bluesy rock.
He has two grown sons who each own successful businesses in southern Florida, while he lives in southeastern Michigan with his beautiful wife, a talented musician-composer son, a very ugly mortgage and one extremely large cat.
